Classes at the Clay Half
The Clay Half studio is fully equipped to offer pottery classes but is equally suitable for use as a creative space for a variety of other classes too.
Our pottery taster sessions are designed to gently introduce you to the practice. Tailored for beginners, once you have completed these you can progress to intermediate level and continue to develop your skills in either hand-building or wheel-thrown pottery. We also like to nurture young talents with our adult and child pottery classes.

If you are seeking a more personalised experience? We offer private classes for tailored tuition, as well as small team building workshops or party nights with a glass of fizz!

But that's not all – we're not limited to pottery. Unleash your imagination with our arts and crafting workshops such as drawing and painting sessions, lino printing, jewellery making, spoon carving and wreath making.
Hire the Clay Half
The Clay Half can also be hired for your own classes at a rate of £10 an hour for a one off booking, (minimum of £30).
There are seats for up to 10 people, although with art and crafting materials, 6-8 is a more realistic number.
