If you have been to the Clay Half and spent time creating things, we really like you to claim them when they are finished. And if they are waiting to be glazed we'd love you to come and glaze them so that they can be seen in their fully finished glory!

You can book into a glazing session to finish your work once it's been fired after you've made it, this is bisc fired work, ready for glazing.

This entire process can take a good few weeks but we try our best to do it as quickly as possible. If you are struggling to get a glazing session to suit you then please get in touch, it may be possible to join another class if that's more suitable. And once you've glazed it, we need to fire it once more so that the glaze melts and fuses with the clay after which you can collect your work to take home. Pop in to collect it about a week after you glazed it, if someone is in the studio you can come in, we might just need to be brief with you and if we can't find your work easily, then you may need to come back later but it's usually pretty straight forward. Please bring a box or bag and an old towel or wrapping to be able to take the work home safely. We have some but not enough for everyone. Thx.

Please Note - If your work is more than 6 months old then it will be in storage and can still be claimed for a short while, and if it's more than 9 months old then i'm afraid it's just not possible to store it for you and we assume you don't want it. It will have been disposed of, and in the interests of recycling and to reduce waste we try to find an alternative us for it before designating it to the skip, so you may see it for sale at student exhibitions, or being available to others for glazing sessions. If you find it first then by all means claim it back, we always want to reunite pots with makers! Thanks
